I would highly recommend Allison to anyone experiencing chronic pain and inflammation. Allison gave me my life back and for that, I will be forever thankful. In 6th grade, I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. This kept me bedridden off and on for the next three years. My parents and I tried desperately to find a way out of the constant suffering I was experiencing. Medicines were helping my inflammation, but they did not take away the pain and they caused me other serious side effects. We were recommended to see Allison by our family friend, Julie. And, after yet another trip to the emergency room ended with no answers - just more pain medicine, we were ready. I remember leaving my first appointment with Allison feeling pain free for the first time in nearly three years. It was a wonderful moment. I continued to work closely with Allison for the next few years. She provided me with so much education on my unique body and how I could manage my symptoms on my own. Together we worked to bring down my pain and inflammation and increase my functioning. My rheumatologist had once told me at the rate my inflammation was going that I would need a knee replacement by the time I was twenty years old. However, with Allison’s help, not only was that not necessary, but I played high school lacrosse. I am now 23 years old, managing my inflammation without medicine, and am successfully living pain free each day. This all thanks to the hard work and time Allison put in to working with me. She freed me from my pain after each visit, and she gave me the foundation to continue taking care my body for the rest of my life. Thank you so much, Allison!
